Founded in Hamburg, Germany, in February 2023 by designer and art director Laura Chlass, the brand moves between avant-garde expression and conceptual clarity.

Every collection is created locally, guided by craftsmanship, material awareness, and symbolic depth. Each piece explores contrasts — between strength and fragility, rationality and emotion, lightness and weight.

All designs are handcrafted in the Atelier in Hamburg. Materials are sourced with intention: existing stocks, local remnants, and overproduced fabrics are reimagined into new forms. The process honours material as a living substance — respected, not consumed.

Beyond the annual couture collections, LAURA CHLASS includes a line of handcrafted leather goods — timeless essentials made from repurposed leather, each piece carefully stitched by hand to embody quality, durability, and quiet elegance.
